It is recommended that the operators of solid sodium ethoxide wear self-priming filter dust masks, chemical safety glasses, rubber acid and alkali suits, and rubber acid and alkali gloves.
2. Keep away from fire sources and heat sources.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the workplace. Use explosion-proof ventilation systems and equipment. Avoid dust. Avoid oxidants and acids. Be particularly careful to avoid contact with water.
3. Equip with the corresponding types and quantities of fire-fighting equipment and leakage emergency treatment equipment. Empty containers of solid sodium ethoxide may leave behind harmful substances.
4. Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse. Prevent direct sunlight. Packaging and sealing. It should be stored separately from oxidants and acids and not be mixed.
5. Use explosion-proof lighting and ventilation facilities. Do not use mechanical equipment and tools that are prone to generating sparks. The storage area should be equipped with appropriate materials to prevent leakage.
